
PHOENIX, AZ –ÌýToday, theÌý91̽»¨ (ABIC)Ìýand its political arm,ÌýABIC ActionÌýannounced the new hiring ofÌýEnrique Davis-MazlumÌýas the new Arizona State Director of ABIC and ABIC Action. Prior to joining ABIC and ABIC Action, Enrique was the LUCHA Blue Campaign Director in Arizona. Davis-Mazlum brings over two decades of grassroots political campaigns internationally.
During his tenure at LUCHA, Davis-Mazlum worked closely with ABIC Action on theÌýÌýcampaign contributing to an historic win in Arizona, the first state in the U.S. History to pass a ballot initiative allowing Arizona’s Dreamers to pay the same in-state tuition to attend Arizona colleges and universities as the state’s documented high school graduates.
Additionally, Davis-Mazlum holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and has taught at several universities, most recently at the University of Arizona.
