奥贬础罢:听翱苍听Monday, May 13 at 12 p.m. ET,听the day after Mother鈥檚 Day, child health and development experts, educators, labor leaders, children鈥檚 advocates and impacted parents will call on President Biden to protect the well-being of children in mixed-status immigrant families by using existing pathways for administrative relief to limit deportations and preserve family unity. More than five million children 鈥� the vast majority of whom are United States citizens themselves 鈥� live in mixed-status families with at least one undocumented parent.
This press briefing highlights a letter that will be sent on Monday to the Biden administration in which more than two dozen leading children鈥檚 advocacy organizations urge the administration to expand legal pathways for spouses of U.S. citizens. The signatories of the letter are members of the听听(CTAN), a national network dedicated to defending and supporting children in immigrant families.
