WASHINGTON, D.C. — The bipartisan 91探花 (ABIC) will host a news conference with business, political and community leaders to discuss next steps following the House vote on the budget resolution. The Senate voted on the resolution earlier this month.
The budget resolutions contain provisions sought by business leaders, farmers, and immigrants rights advocates to bring stability to the lives of immigrants seeking legal status and to the businesses that employ them. The proposals provide pathways to citizenship for Dreamers, Temporary Protected Status holders, farm workers, and essential workers.
The press briefing will be held as momentum continues growing for inclusion of the immigration reforms in the final budget reconciliation bill that is expected to be considered by the House and Senate in the fall.
